Womb Hara Massage is a deeply nourishing and transformative therapy that draws on both Eastern and Western healing traditions to support the health and wellbeing of the womb holder.

What is 'Hara'?
Hara translates from Japanese, meaning belly/and or your stomach. Known as your energy centre.

Combining gentle energy work with therapeutic bodywork, it integrates techniques from Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage and fertility massage to encourage relaxation, improve circulation, release tension, and restore connection to the body.

I learned these techniques in my certified training at the Institute Of Feminine Arts, and have continued to deepen my sessions with my lived experiences and personal deep dives.

Woman often seek out 'womb healing', but I like to describe this as seeking out a connection to your body, as a connection to your heart and womb. Something you just need to remember, not learn.

In session, massage areas include:

  • Sacrum and coccyx

  • Lower and upper back

  • Womb space, including reproductive space

  • Abdomen, including small and large intestines

Some ways you can benefit from this work include reconnecting with your womb, to awaken and remove stagnant energy, support your fertility journey or support to birth a project into creation, eleviate painful menstruation, move through birth trauma, to reclaim your power, or just to allow yourself to receive in a world where we give so much.

More benefits can include:

  • Relieving stress, anxiety and depression

  • Help alleviate painful menstruation

  • Move through birth trauma

  • Pain management with those with endometritis, ovarian cysts or fibroids

  • Those on a fertility journey

  • Becoming more magnetic

  • Move through sexual trauma

  • Restore life force energy

  • Connection to your feminine centre

  • Promotes creativity and birth of projects/ideas

  • Assists those with back pain; including sciatica

  • Promotes better digestion and bowel movements

  • Relieve pelvic tightness and pain

  • Time to yourself to receive and just be

I honour and acknowledge the lineage of this modality, its teachings and all the wisdom from Natalie Zukerman, The Institute Of Feminine Arts.
